The Gift of Giving provides a means to give a universally appealing, heart felt, deeply considerate gift every time to everyone and anyone. Through The Gift of Giving website, you can give a charitable giftcard that is later directed to a charity selected by the gift recipient. Put simply, The Gift of Giving is a conduit for charitable giving in gift packaging.

THE BRAND
VOLTAGE worked with Frank Callahan, the mastermind behind the new gift giving idea, to develop the brand and bring the concept to market. Beginning with the Identity and Brand language VOLTAGE developed a strong graphic look that is simple and straightforward. The objective was to communicate this new concept as quickly and directly as possible. Combining strong headlines and graphic quotes with powerful imagery and collages of the many different charities became the solution.

THE WEBSITE
The Gift of Giving Website had to communicate directly and quickly and this was accomplished through a simple interface and design. A strong use of imagery create the online giving atmosphere and quickly communicate the wide variety of charitable opportunities. The website was also unique in it required many custom features not typical to a regular e-commerce site. A custom backend was built enabling users to track their gifts, maintain an address book, select different gift options on purchase, customize a gifts and direct multiple gifts to different recipients.

THE GIFT BOX AND BROCHURE
To create a memorable gift giving experience VOLTAGE designed a custom giftbox that included a Giftcard, Notecard with a personal message from the gift giver, and Company Brochure. The box opens like a gift – revealing a step by step process of discovery, ultimately revealing the colorful giftcard.

News from VOLTAGE Advertising and Design

VOLTAGE Advertising and Design has just completed a new identity for the Louisville Arts Hub. A consolidated effort by the many arts organizations and groups in Louisville to promote their various activities, classes and performances. The website which is being developed by VOLTAGE Advertising and Design will be the central location for information regarding the many artistic groups located in Louisville, Colorado and offer course calendars, event notifications, and recent news.

The simple and bold graphics are intended to promote the actual activities and has been designed to act like a hub – and bring the many artists and groups together under a common graphic language. Louisville’s non-profit arts groups involved in the Hub along with the Boulder County Arts Alliance are The Art Underground, Centerstage Theatre Company, Coal Creek Community Theater, Louisville Art Association, and the Louisville Cultural Council.

VOLTAGE has designed Daybreakers new album. “See the world from here” is a great new recording from Chris Howard – who is Daybreaker. Full of sunshine filled eclectic pop – this new album is a great edition to Daybreakers work and we were thrilled to design the packaging for the CD. Trying to reflect Chris’s sound and upbeat tempo – VOLTAGE created a colorful look for the insert, disc, and traycards. Chris was pretty stoked – see the comments below.

LockIn Security\'s FJ Cruiser designed by VOLTAGE Advertising + Design

The LockIn FJ Cruiser is in the wraps! In leiu of doing a full on tradeshow booth for LockIn Security – a client who has developed an innovative new trailer lock and security system – VOLTAGE has designed a traveling booth or should we say trailer – that is fully equiped with the actual security system, as well as compelling graphics, company brochures, and dvd’s. The trailers proven a success as the team has sold a number of systems allready before the locks have even hit the production line. It’s a slam dunk when you see the trailer and how the lock actually works!

News Bolts from Voltage Advertising and Design
Christina Milian with Common Threadz at the MTV Style Lounge \'08 Common Threadz, a VOLTAGE client, was spotted on the scene at the MTV Style Lounge in Beverly Hills last week. As you can see by the photos many famous people stood by the logo we designed, including the likes of Christina Milian, Joel Moore, Vanessa Branch, Shannon Elizabeth, Matt Sorum, and Jesse Metcalf. VOLTAGE designed the Common Threadz logo, marketing collateral, and are now working on some tees!

The LockIn Lock secures trailers with over 10,000 lbs. of force

LockIn hired VOLTAGE to shape the brand of a high end, muscle powered, motor driving, alarm system for trailers and storage units. It’s invincible bar locks drive motorized latches to lock down any trailer or storage unit. We have been working with Lockin to apply product graphics, build an initial website, produce brochures, shape the brand and story and provide marketing and sales sheets. The latest and greatest breaking news in the Lockin brand development is the Lockin Video – produced by Flippin Entertainment – and in a world record timeframe.

Gift of Giving Notecard
The Gift of Giving is a new twist on charitable giving and gift giving. It provides the ability to give a loved one, a colleague, or a client a unique ‘gift’ that truly makes a difference. You make a charitable donation that is packaged as a traditional gift and given to a loved one, who then gets to direct the donation to charity that is special to them through the website thegiftofgiving.com. VOLTAGE designed and produced the introductory site while the full site is being developed. You can sign up for news and information, or tell your friends. Above a is notecard design planned for the Gift packaging. More to come soon.


Common Threadz Logo designed by VOLTAGE, LTDVOLTAGE, LTD has designed the Common Threadz logo, marketing collateral and web interface. Common Threadz is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is working to provide orphans and vulnerable children in developing nations with the chance of an education and social acceptance by giving them the school uniforms that they can not afford. For each Common Threadz tee sold, a school uniform is donated. The logo took what was common (the identical m’s in the name) and combined them to symbolize the world community coming together for the greater good. A t – icon finishes off the typography, and a full set of icons in the same style were generated for the website design.

The Common Threadz Signature Cause - School Uniforms
VOLTAGE also created their sponsorship package in anticipation of the MTV Style Lounge in Beverly Hills at the end of May. Using artists original works created for the Common Threadz apparel line, We put in place a marketing system allowing the organization to produce and edit their sales sheets, and marketing collateral.
