The Art Directors Club of Denver’s Paper Fashion Show is the largest show of it’s kind in the country with 50 teams cutting, trimming, and competing to take the top seat in the world of paper fashion. catandsweaterVOLTAGE has worked with client The Human Movement to design and develop a new site for the Ugly Sweater run. While working on the design we were able to do some research online and found some real gems of sweater portraits – like the one above of a very serious sweater wearer and cat in holiday attire. It was great fun to work with The Human Movement team. The run will be happening here in Denver on Dec. 21 Be sure to check out the site –

We worked with Fjallraven a few weeks ago to launch their flagship store at Grand & Greene St. in SOHO NYC. 350 VIP guests stopped in throughout the evening and enjoyed some swedish faire – like Lingonberry drinks and more. VOLTAGE created an interactive wall featuring live instagram posts of the event and those who celebrated in other parts of the world.

Eric Fowles the founder and Current Creative Director of VOLTAGE is Sleeping Out tonight to support homeless youth in Boulder County. He’s pledged to raise $3,000 for Attention Homes – a Boulder Teen Homeless Shelter and if he reaches his goal he will not only sleep out – but FREEZE out using no sleeping bag – only the cardboard box provided. Let’s make him FREEZE out by donating today at this link.

Attention Homes Sleep Out - VOLTAGE

Here’s a video about last years event, and some more information on who your supporting and helping by donating to this cause.

Attention Homes Sleep Out from Ethan Benninger on Vimeo.

On November 14, 2013 Attention Homes is joining with more than 60 community and business leaders to raise awareness of and build support for youth who are homeless. Sleep Out participants will be spending the night sleeping outside on the lawn between Attention Homes’ administrative office and theFirst United Methodist Church of Boulder, near 15th& Spruce in downtown Boulder.

By taking part in this event, participants will glimpse what life is like as a homeless youth by exposing themselves to weather elements and uncertainties that come from living on the streets. Unlike Attention Homes’ youth clients, however, event participants have the benefit of knowing the next morning they can return to safe and warm homes, their jobs and their families.

Participants are asked to each pledge to raise $1,000 from friends, family and colleagues through their own online fundraising page to support Attention Homes’ homeless and runaway youth services. The Sleep Out is expected to raise more than $60,000 for Attention Homes’ programming.

Click here for Frequently Asked Questions about the Sleep Out and registering to become a participant.

Thank you in advance for helping us provide comprehensive care and shelter to the homeless and runaway youth served by Attention Homes.

ADCD 2013 from VOLTAGE Advertising + Design on Vimeo.

We were quite excited to pick up a few awards at the ADCD show two weeks ago. What we didn’t realize is that the extremely cool and well designed award itself would make our more mundane office protocol (which typically goes without notice or fanfare ) become events worthy of enthusiastic applause. Now all our meetings, mouse clicks, and water cooler discussions are not complete without a hearty round of claps from the crowd. Thank You Art Directors Club of Denver for the recognition and bringing our creative community together for such a fine event. Oh yeah – and Thank You for the coolest light up “Applause” Sign ever!
