Last week VOLTAGE CEO Eric Fowles and creative director Scott Hooten attended the prestigious digital society SoDA’s Global Member Meeting. More than 100 digital agencies from all over the world, met for a two–day conference. Attendees listened to keynote speakers, shared insights, and collaborated. The event, hosted in San Francisco, involved agencies such as HUGE from Manhattan, Mint Digital from London, and VLT from Malaysia.
“I was surprised by the distances some people traveled to attend this meeting,” Scott said. “We met people from Australia to Sweden to New York.”
Eric and Scott connected with owners and creatives from many agencies and countries. They attended presentations, heard other agency’s stories of survival and success, enjoyed dinner with the members on the top of the U.S.S Midway, and left everyone with a pair of our signature VOLTAGE socks.
“It was a great first experience being a part of such a huge organization,” Eric said. “This was a huge step for us into the top tier of digital agencies. We learned a lot, made a lot of connections, and we are heading in the right direction for our future growth” he said.
VOLTAGE even came home with an award, the “Mutiny Award” for arranging the SoDA video reel that played at the event, showcasing work from each agency.
