Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, Desktop Metal (a 3D printing systems group) approached us for assistance bringing to life a unique solution re: the shortage of COVID-19 testing kits...
We set up the domain, hosting, and deployment pipeline for a microsite that would bring together a consortium of academic, medical, and commercial enterprises able to deliver clinically tested, FDA-registered, 3D-printed, COVID-19 nasopharyngeal test swab designs – to the tune of 4 million swabs a week.
After the original URL got blocked due to a flood of fraud surrounding the use of "COVID," we had their site launched and ready for an influx of demand within the week. Swabs are available for order and immediate fulfillment through members of the consortium.
