Chipotle Mexican Grill continues to be a Force For Good, this time by giving away a QUARTER MILLION burritos to healthcare heroes. We’re honored to have supported this effort with dev services to ensure all 250,000 burritos get to heroes.
This project centered on our ability to power high-traffic campaigns. We built the whole campaign on AWS Lambda, a serverless offering, which meant Chipotle could handle 75k applications per minute – fast enough to complete the quarter-million-person campaign in under 4 minutes if all those people came to the site at the same time. Talk about high-voltage!
