Force For Good: SVU

Eric Fowles, VOLTAGE CEO, recently spoke to students at Southern Virginia University about hustle, hard work, and the lasting value of the relationships that begin in college.

Do you want to be a force for good? That’s the question Eric Fowles (VOLTAGE CEO) said has framed everything from the VOLTAGE identity to hiring employees and landing clients.

During his recent visit to students at Southern Virginia University, Eric shared stories from his experiences growing a creative agency to illustrate that in most cases, being a force for good can sound simpler than it might be in reality.

You may look at things and think, wow, I’m living my best life… and you are, right – your best life is just the next day – but it’s interesting when you see social media… everyone posts their best life, and you never get to see the grit and the determination and sometimes even the pitfalls that got them to that point.

Eric Fowles, VOLTAGE CEO

With stories, throwback pics to the early basement-based days of VOLTAGE, and heartfelt moments, Eric connected with the group of college students to share three core points:

  1. Hustle. Work hard and do what it takes. It will pay off.
  2. Doing the right thing always wins.
  3. Enjoy and maintain your relationships.
