The South Denver campus of the University of Colorado is home to college classrooms, event spaces and a museum. To make their services clear to online visitors, VOLTAGE reworked the website architecture. Creative design achieved site-wide compliance without sacrificing style. We highlighted the Learn Forward campaign and invited students of all ages to enlist in professional development.
First, we took into account the amount of services CU South Denver offers. After summarizing content, we reordered pages with an organized plan. A simplified navigation bar benefits teachers scheduling field trips, event managers looking for catering prices and students researching degree programs. Changes include:
Second, we updated the design with a crisp, professional look. A new font and custom icons bring South Denver up to par with other University of Colorado sites.
The website’s design also meets WCAG AA compliance, making the information accessible to more visitors than ever before. We nailed on-brand style that meets the criteria of high-contrast design.
