The Who:

Owlet gives parents peace of mind with their state-of-the-art smart sock. The sock monitors a baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels and alerts parents to any potential concerns.

The Challenge:

Owlet needed a complete website redesign to match their excellent products, so they teamed up with VOLTAGE to revamp the site and improve mobile user experience.

The Solution:

Our design team created a cohesive site that carried a consistent style, while our development team did serious work on creating the site and making it run smoothly. Initially, Owlet’s site was managed across four separate platforms. We condensed these into one, adding consistency and improving performance tracking.

Mobile First:

90% of Owlet’s traffic comes through mobile devices, so our development and design teams worked toward an exceptional mobile layout. We used images while incorporating information to make the site visually engaging and enlightening.

Stories, Reviews and Mission:

We added some goodies to improve the site’s overall appeal. First, a “Stories” section where parents submit their heartwarming experiences directly to the Owlet team. Next, a reviews section where customers share helpful, genuine feedback. We also enhanced their mission statement to help their branding shine through. For the cherry on top, we made the shopping journey simple, informative and intuitive.

Results:

All this hard work paid off big for Owlet. On top of the new agile build and elevated look, their site saw a load speed improvement from 8 seconds to just 1.2 seconds. We’re feeling like a proud mom over the results of this website!
